We Have Years Of Experience! Scott Spiwak and David Seewack (left to right) these are the bright minds behind this new company - American Moving Parts. Yet, they started when they both met at Associated Truck Parts and eventually became partners. After gathering years of experience they have made history again.

Our history: It All Started With Associated Truck Parts
Scott joined Associated Truck Parts in 1977 and David joined in 1981 when it had only one branch location. They were part of the transformation of a great company. Associated Truck Parts was started by Scott's Grandfather in the middle 40's and was taken over by Scott's father in the late 50's. Scott's father, Leo, took the company from a small auto wreaker and transformed it into a Truck Parts company. Associated Truck Parts became the trusted company and best supplier of Transmissions and Differentials in the Western United States. Leo wanted to expand his company but lacked the management and people to make this dream come true. Leo wanted to expand his company so he asked his son Scott to come into the business to help him achieve his dream. A few years later Leo asked David to also join this great transformation of the company. Scott and David together assisted in the next phase of Associated Truck parts expansion. Together they began to open up branch locations to better serve their growing customer base.

In 1987 ATP purchased their largest competitor, Freeway Truck Parts and now had doubled in size. ATP had also expanded their product offering to include Brake and Suspension Parts. By the mid 90's ATP had become the largest and most successful supplier of Heavy Duty Truck Parts in the Western United States. With 23 locations they were serving California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Colorado. In 1997 Leo retired and sold the company to Scott and David who became 50/50 partners.
